One of the most unique animal experiences is coming to the UK. Giraffe Hall, soon to open its doors in Port Lympne in Kent, will allow guests to get even closer to their favourite long-necked friends.
You’ll be greeted by the reserves resident giraffes, as they join you in the lofty ceilinged drawing-room and peer into the bedroom windows, where you’ll also have an opportunity to feed them.
This once in a lifetime animal experience will be the first of its kind in the Western Hemisphere, allowing you to get closer than ever before to these gentle giants.
Giraffe Hall is a Grade 2 listed Wealden hall house, dating back to the 15th and 16th Century. It is soon to be restored and 10 luxury en-suite bedrooms will be created. As well as this, five pods will be installed in the Aspinall Foundation-owned grounds, allowing a maximum capacity of 40 guests. The hotel will offer a luxury safari feel, whilst incorporating the comforts and décor of an English stately home.
Guests also have the opportunity to book out the venue for weddings and private parties. So it would be perfect for a special occasion for your group trip.
Due to popular demand, the Reserve has created a ‘waiting list’ which has already received over 9000 requests according to Kent Online. So make your way on over to The Aspinall Foundation website to register your interest today. There’s currently no opening date for Giraffe Hall, but check back here for any updates.
If you can’t wait for opening day, the reserve, which is run by the Aspinall Foundation, already offers guests extraordinary animal experiences, including Lion Lodge. Which features huge windows facing out onto the lion enclosure, the website highlights its “floor to ceiling windows in both the master bedroom and the open plan living area, guests will be just a whisker away from lions.” The reserve also offers similar experiences with tigers and wolves.
